What is a GoZero Event?

WasteCap Nebraska works with event planners to procure the best reusable or disposable products, sorting bins and signage for your event. We make sure that vendors, material haulers, volunteers and staff know what to do for a successful zero waste event, and we calculate your waste diversion rate for you. With GoZero, it’s easy to celebrate our better nature.

How does GoZero work? 

We bring our special outdoor tents where your event participants can sort their discards into recycle, compost and landfill receptacles. The tent design is eye-catching and effective, with space to attach custom signage or the actual items used at the event, so there’s no guesswork! Prior to the event, we coach your team or work directly with vendors and suppliers to control materials coming in to your event.  We work with the recyclers, composters and haulers for you, so that you don’t have to worry about waste management. We train event staff and volunteers to help attendees sort their discards properly. During the event, we monitor the tents and ensure everything is running smoothly.  Finally, we weigh and record materials to determine your event’s diversion rate.  All that’s left for you is the bragging!
