Chairperson Tyler Mainquist Tyler Mainquist is a Financial Consultant with Thrivent Financial, based in Lincoln. Tyler received a BS from UNL’s College of Engineering, and was Director of Global Service Delivery for MDS (now Celerion) prior to his career in financial services. In addition to financial planning and risk management, Tyler maintains a specialty in sustainable and responsible investing (SRI). He also serves on the board of directors of several other arts and community organizations. |

Vice ChairRegan Smith
Regan Smith is the Fleet and Fuel Manager for Select Van & Storage Mayflower in Omaha NE, Lincoln NE, Des Moines IA, and Kansas City MO. She has worked in the family owned and operated business since 2006. Smith has developed sustainable moving practices moving house hold goods including eliminating cardboard waste. She is passionate about air quality, and focused on reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions in her fleet. Smith is apart of US EPA Smartway Transport Program a collaborative effort among the transportation sector to reduce green house gas emissions and energy consumption. Member of US Green Building Council to support environmentally responsible building design and operations, and just recently registered for Waste Wise a voluntary program through the EPA to eliminate municipal solid waste, to benefit the companies bottom line and environment. Select Van is the proud recipient of Waste Cap Sustainable Business Award for waste reduction, recycling, and reuse efforts in 2010. Smith is currently working on her degree in Supply Chain Management at UNO, and Metro CC. |

TreasurerReynolds Davis
Reynolds Davis retired from SmithKline Beckman (now Glaxo-SmithKline) in 1990 after a 20 year career. Currently, he is the Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator for a nine-county area. He has been active in the Lancaster County Red Cross both in leadership and volunteer positions. Reynolds is currently the Executive Director of the Lincoln Amateur Radio Club, Past-Chair of Volunteer Partners in Lincoln, serves as Lancaster County Emergency Coordinator for the Amateur Radio Emergency Service and is on the Executive Committee for Nebraska VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active after Disaster). Reynolds is President of Nebraska QCWA and is the State Director for the United States Air Force Military Affiliate Radio System. |

SecretaryGene Hanlon
Gene Hanlon has a masters degree in Public Administration. He has worked as Recycling Coordinator for the City of Lincoln since 1987. He has served on the boards of the Nebraska Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America and the Nebraska State Recycling Association. He was a founding member of WasteCap Nebraska. Prior to joining the City of Lincoln he served as Executive Director of Neighborhood Housing Services (now know as Neighborworks); the Omaha Area Food Bank and was a planner for the Omaha Economic Development Corporation. |

Board MembersJohn Hetcko
John Hetcko is the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for the Lincoln Operations, General Dynamics, a manufacturer of composite aerospace and defense products ultimately used by the federal government. He has held that position for over 23 years. He is a Certified Safety Professional and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. His experiences at General Dynamics have been in all facets of safety and environmental issues that may impact the operations from worker compensation claims, testifying at OSHA and NDEQ regulatory hearings, environmentalpermit preparation and implementation in air, RCRA, and pretreatment and an Emergency Response committee member. |

Adam J. ProchaskaAdam J. Prochaska is an attorney at Harding & Shultz, P.C., L.L.O. in Lincoln, Nebraska. He began his career in Kansas City where he acquired a wealth of experience in the areas of appellate and trial practice, products liability, personal injury, and insurance law. Adam continues to practice in these areas, among others. Adam is dedicated to environmental sustainability and has been the driving force behind his law firm’s waste reduction and recycling program. Adam holds the LEED® Green Associate™ credential, which according to the USGBC “attests to demonstrate knowledge and skill in understanding and supporting green design, construction and operations.” His enthusiasm and initiative, in addition to his breadth of experience, will be a vital component of WasteCap Nebraska’s future growth. | |
Marty HagerMarty “The Marlin” Hager has served as co-Owner and Account Manager (a title better known as “Chief Pond Officer”) at the minnow PROJECT, a creative advertising agency in Lincoln, since 1999. A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Marty has spent his entire career in Lincoln with a strong background in commercial printing. Prior to co-founding the minnow PROJECT, Marty spent six years with Jacob North Company, where he was a sales representative and member of the Presidents Club, and QuebecorWorld for ten years. Marty’s expertise in client relations and managerial experience has been key to the minnow PROJECT’s continued success and growth over the past 13 years. He’s also all about going green, a lifestyle spurred by his robust involvement in the Ecology Movement in the 70s at the ripe age of thirteen. | |
Angela PaoliniAngela Paolini handles marketing, bookkeeping and office operations for ServiceMaster PBM, a recognizable reputable commercial cleaning company. Although she has many aspects to her job, she enjoys the marketing and sales the most. She graduated with a BA majoring in Psychology with a minor in Native American Studies, worked office jobs most of her career and began and ran a non-profit organization for five years. Angela has two children and has been married for nine years. | |
Tammy WilliamsTammy Williams is the Environmental Engineer at BD Medical in Columbus, Nebraska. She has a Master’s degree in environmental health, is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and a Certified Safety Specialist. She has worked in the environmental field for more than 20 years, with experience in the government sector, heavy industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing, and lab and clinical safety and environmental management. Tambra is a native Nebraskan with a passion for educating others about living an environmentally sustainable life. | |
Nate ManiktalaNate Maniktala is a Vice President and a Principal of M.E. GROUP. He leads a combination of technical and business consulting for the development and implementation of sustainable strategies into the operation, construction and/or design of buildings. Drawing from his background in business management and 12 years of experience in the architectural engineering industry as a developer and consultant, Nate focuses on delivering the greatest net value to clients. Nate is an active speaker and advocate for ‘green building’, advisor to numerous government agencies, and State Board member for the American Council of Engineering Companies. He is supported by his lovely wife Jaya and two children Shaan and Nina. | |
Kim Morrow HinrichsKim serves as Associate Minister at First-Plymouth Church in Lincoln, where she directs a Sustainable Living Ministry. This project seeks to raise consciousness among the congregation and wider community about environmental sustainability through guest speaker events, field trips, ecology & faith classes, worship, cooking classes and advocacy work. Prior to moving to Lincoln in 2010, Kim served on the staff of Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California for nine years, where she developed expertise in program management, fundraising, online theological education and working with a board of trustees. She holds a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz, a Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion, and has done doctoral studies at the Graduate Theological Union. She is passionate about helping people respond to the environmental urgencies of our time, and enjoys being mom to her two wonderful daughters. | |
