]]>Ms. Hakenkamp has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and has been involved in recycling and environmental issues for nearly 15 years. She has been the Director of WasteCap Nebraska since 1998. In that time, WasteCap has performed over 100 waste assessments for businesses, hosted over 30 workshops and educational tours, and written 12 publications for business recycling. Ms. Hakenkamp completed an intensive, 9-month Executive Director Leadership Training program offered through the Institute for Conservation Leadership in 2007 and earned certificates in Project Management and Leadership from the Nebraska Business Development Center in 2009.

]]>Chris has extensive experience in public health administration, community organizing and advocacy. She holds a B.S. from UNL in Education and an M.S. from the Univ. of Massachusetts in Labor Studies. She is a graduate scholar from UNMC’s Great Plains Public Health Leadership Institute, completed a 6 weeks Climate Masters course at UNL and obtained a Building Analyst Professional Certification from the Building Performance Institute. Chris worked as a consultant to the City of Lincoln’s Cleaner Greener Lincoln program on their Non-Profit Energy Pilot Project prior to joining WasteCap full-time in 2013.

]]>Heather Creevan joined WasteCap Nebraska in 2014 as an Office Manager. She is responsible for providing high-level support to the organizations internal operations. Her responsibilities encompass many aspects of WasteCap Nebraska, including correspondence, bookkeeping, donor database, data management and reporting. Her incredible organization skills keeps our team running smoothly. Heather has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and enjoys spending time with her family and gardening in her spare time.
