Husker
Battery Service is a privately owned battery recycling service center
that is located in Omaha, Nebraska. Rob Miklas started the business in
September 2000 and it has steadily grown every year since its
inception.
Husker
Battery Service currently has two full time employees and contracts with
a third person for some additional aspects of the business. They are
hoping to add two more employees within the next two years as business
is expected to continue to grow even more. They relocated in 2004 and
increased their capacity by 200% which favors them for growth. In 2004
alone three million pounds of lead acid batteries were recycled through
Husker Battery Service.
Husker
Battery Service offers exceptional customer service to households and
businesses alike. They take a wide range of batteries that includes
lead acid, nickel cadmium, lithium, and more. Both households and
business are welcome to bring batteries to them. The smaller household
amounts can be dropped off for free. Larger industrial amounts are
taken for a small fee.
Rob
stated that they look forward to growing and expanding their business.
For battery recycling needs you can contact him at (402) 573-1054.
