Metal Scrap
Metal is the most recycled of all commodities, generating a recycling rate of over 90%. Ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals are recycled into new products very easily. Despite market fluctuations, metals do have great market value. In addition, recycling metals, versus mining and producing virgin metal products uses 90% less energy and cuts air pollutants by as much as 95%.
